Goodbye's are never easy.
I learned this the hard way, leaving everything & everyone I love behind.
Honestly, I'm home sick (no suprise, huh).
I miss my grandma's kimchi jji gae, the smell of my house, the sounds of my siblings playing games, my mom's perfume, the creaky noise my front door makes when my dad leaves for work, the warm so-cal weather, the cries of my godson in the middle of the night, the hugs of my friends, the korean t.v. channel, and everything other little thing that I've taken for granted.
Sigh, I do wish I was home, but we all know I need to check off a few things on my to-do list.
Justin & I decided to keep you all updated on our San Francisco adventures through this blog. We hope to update at least once a week or so, to keep you posted on our progress & other things you'd miss. Don't worry, we're eating right & growing up. We cook, clean, & keep each other company.
We miss you all so much. We encounter things that remind us of home everyday. Keep us in your thoughts & prayers, because we need all the support we can get. We hope you enjoy this blog, as much as we enjoy San Francisco.

So, let's begin with a little tour of Christy's jip...

This is the view outside my window.
It was raining...LIKE ALWAYS! Sigh.
Basically, you open the front door & go up a flight of stairs, which leads you to this hallway.
Then, on the left you'll see my closet space (excuse the mess, I haven't fully moved in yet due to work).
To the right, you'll see David's room & his beautiful art.
You'll follow the hallway straight to my room/living room.
The view on the right side of my bed: The fireplace & the best invention I've invested in, the Swiffer.
In the middle of the hallway, you'll find our kitchen (those aren't party cups, it's our water cups lol).
...And our dining room, where you'll find us lounging most of the time.
At the other end of the hall, you'll find Soul & Jason's room.
That's it for the tour, now for our entertainment & adventures.
Justin & I spend most of our days in these piggy slippers. Don't judge us.
I swear we've been eating good, but we're addicted to cheese & Triscuits.
Justin made us dinner one night. Very romantic with our candle-light setting.
See! I told you we eat well. Porkchops, rice pilaf, onions, mushrooms & salad. Jealous?
We spend most of our time drawing & doing art pieces together. This is our new project, which will eventually be hanging up on my wall.
We also Google random places to go to. We went to Japan & China town yesterday & picked up these goodies (keep in mind the little package with the orange bunny: it makes hard boil eggs in that shape & we're planning on making them tomorrow & will post pictures).
This is my little scrubbing hand towel thing we got in J-town for $1.50! So cute, I had to get it!
Shower buddies!
We have a couple people stopping by from time to time. Young Buck from G-unit stopped by to hang out with Justin.
He says Hi.
We say Hi, too.
Bye bye from us, Young Buck, & the cute dead skin scrubber!
Stay tuned for next weeks adventure: boiling eggs into shapes of bunnies & bears.
